The darkest full moon of the year, at the darkest time of the year, deep in the emotions of Cancer. This is known at the Wolf Moon for the hungry cries of the wolves at this time of year. The Native Americans called it The Moon of the Terrible. There is a reason it feels awful right now. It's cold, it's dark, we're tired, we're hungry, we need rest. But the world outside tells us we need to keep moving on the hamster wheel earning worthiness and striving for something from outside of ourselves. 
 
Take time. Rest. Listen. Be quiet. Simply be.
