Full Moon in Gemini with Mars retrograde and Mercury (Gemini's ruler) just going direct on the full moon, is calling us inward to assess and redress some of our automatic programs, thoughts, ideas to determine if we've been wrong about them, and in that, if we've been causing self harm without realizing it.
Mars is in retrograde here (the divine masculine that typically takes action and wants to move forward) as Venus (divine feminine), and Pluto (transformation) are conjunct in Aquarius asking us to remember the necessity of including the feminine in the process. The wounds of the feminine need to be felt,  honored, alchemized and rebalanced in sync with the masculine.
 
Mars will not be direct again until February 24, at which time it will be in Cancer, diving deep into the emotions of the crab. It's as if Mars has to go back into it's feeling state to sync up with the feminine and move forward together in a new way. Mars won't be out of shadow retrograde until May 9, so it indicates this energy will be with us nearly half of 2025.
